This is the original. I scanned in the letter you gave me on November 5th, and used fragments of those words to model new ones. The only reason it might look wrong is that my letter spacing is off, or I don't have the tails connecting them (which are difficult to credibly emulate). But it's my first try, so you should expect a few minor details to be missing. I still think it's pretty good, for only having taken me about an hour and a half.
I really like this quote, and I wanted to incorporate it somehow into one of my posts. But it wouldn't make any sense coming from me; it would have to be you saying it. That's when I thought of using your handwriting. And the process of having to construct each word individually really helped me to fully take in their message. It was an experiment in graphic design and, at the same time, a forced acceptance of your opinion of me.
Oh, and I had to cross-breed an I and a Y to make the J, because there was no capital J in that letter. I didn't want to take the time to search for one in your other letters, so I'm not sure if that's even how you write them. But it works.
"But it's my first try, so you should expect a few minor details to be missing." Um...you plan on doing this again sometime? I mean, I know you probably didn't mean anything by it other than "a forced acceptance," but it kind of makes me feel violated. Your handwriting is part of your personality...your self. Someone else just can't "use" it. It's not something someone can just "borrow." It's weird.
Just, for this time, think of it this way: It is artwork. I am trying to express a point through a visual means, and using your handwriting is the only way I could capture the message I wanted. I would never, ever do this just for the hell of it. I used it *because* it is a part of your personality, and that comes through when you look at it. It makes the words more viable.

trying to copy someone's handwriting? I don't recall ever writing that myself.
I promise not to use my powers for evil :)
hmm...okay.
besides, some of your letters were off, anyway--the original is always the best :P
wait. why would you consider doing that in the first place?

I looked it up. You're right, it *does* sound like something I'd quote.
"I know your heart belongs to someone you've yet to meet
And someday you will be loved." nice song.
